I bought a Windows 7 Pro 32 bit program at Ebay. I installed it and had problems with the virtual machine and downloading adobe products. Now, I realize I bought a back up copy, not for resale. What should I do? Reinstall it? Get Windows anytime upgrade and try to press for Pro ultimate. Are my problems related to this copy or could it be something else. I paid $111.00 for it saving about 75 bucks. It's not like it was bargain basement. I was told it was new, but I see it was made in Puerto Rico. Can anyone shed some light?

If you check the listing and it does not state anywhere that it is not Retail or OEM, you can open a claim with ebay and/or paypal, as you did not receive the product you paid for.

Other than that, I would try to re-install, sometimes windows just doesn't stick to your hard drive properly ;)

Thank you. It's too late to contact ebay or paypal, I tried that. But thank you, I will reinstall. If I may ask one more question? Will this reinstall wipe the drive or just install on top of the others. Should I save my stuff on a flash drive before doing anything?

It sounds to me like it is a bad CD. Like LiquidSnak asked. Explain what is written on the CD. BTW, you can find them cheaper than $111. You should be able to put a claim in with Ebay. When did you buy it?

I have a student here that has a 64bit DVD that has basically all the sme info you have. It was purchased from Digital River during the initial student discount program. So it should be a valid install DVD you have. This one has a sticker on the cardboard sleve that says made in Puerto Rico. Did you get a valid activation Key Code ?
