I think that is should be able to. But unless another members knows for sure by trying I suggest that you test it yourself. Move a small account, etc. I tested before I trusted it to move from Vista to 7. I wanted to be sure I understood how it worked and I liked it before I trusted it.
Be aware, some members have commented that Easy Transfer failed them when needed. So always have a back up.
thanks Richard
i'll wait another members knows for sure and tested the issue
I've tried Windows Easy Transfer from XP to Vista and it did not transfer accurately. Some files were screwed up, some were out of place, and some did not transfer at all. And the system customizations were really off!!! From now on, even though it's a big pain in the behind, I would rather take the time to transfer folders/files manually and then customize my new system manually as well.
I have used it from XP to 7, XP to Vista and Vista to 7 and it usually works fine, make sure you understand what it transferring. it is good for user settings, documents, pictures ,ect. You will have to reinstall the programs like MS Office and such.

Yes, I believe that you have had good results with it, Ken. It's just that, like any application or program, it doesn't always work properly. Even you just said that it "usually" works fine. So my advice to any potential user is this: be prepared in case it doesn't work well in your case. Have a backup plan B. When it malfunctioned in my case, I had a devil of a time reconstructing my settings and getting my files and folders sorted out and replaced.
thanks all
"usually" works fine as ken9122 wrote is not good enough ...
i do not think i'll use this application, i'll use a USB drive/stick for transfer
