    Yes that will allow you to set the c: to active and d: to inactive. But I'd like you to have the bootable CD as well in case we need to go back in and change things.
    Do you have the bootable CD download. A file called pwhe52.iso?
    If not go back to the site and download it.

    Yes I have it downloaded through google chrome right now and a blank CD

    If you have the pwhe52.iso (or pwhe--.iso). Put in a blank DVD. From windows explorer highlight it in the right pane.
    -Go to File> Open with>Windowindows disc image burner>Press BURN

    -------------------------------------
    When it burns ok.
    restart your computer and enter Bios setup and make the DVD the first boot device.

    Put in the DVD and restart (Your talking on the other PC right?)

    mjf,

    I burned it on the disk but when I put the disc in it doesn't open the program, when i click the DVD drive it says " Files currently on the Disc - BOOT, even when I double click that it doesn't open the program...when I double click BOOT here is what I get:

    ISOLINUX
    BZIMAGE
    TINYCORE.GZ

    You need to boot from the CD.
    Do you know how to enter the BIOS setup

    pwhe52.iso - do i need to burn this to a DVD or CD? All I have is a CD, maybe that is the problem

    CD is fine.
    You need to boot the computer from the CD.
