    It says disk 1 the SSD under status is none and disk 2 status is active

    it also show disk 1 the SSD is used and disk 2 is unused according to the very bottom

    yes you can't do a screen shot
    Tell me this from the top table:
    Disk 1 how much used, how much unused, status, type
    Disk 2 ....the same info

    Disk 1 Capacity-37.27GB Used-22.54GB status none type-primary
    Disk 2 " -465.76GB " -588.47MB " active ' PRIMARY

    also if I right click the drives disk one under modify I can set as active disk 2 I have the choice to set as inactive

    Do that.
    Do a check that you have
    made disk 1 active
    made disk 2 inactive
