Windows 7 (7000) Screen Saver

    Possible solution: If you are using a Microsoft Mouse (like I am), you'll need to download the beta software for your mouse from Microsoft. This fixed the screen saver/power settings issue on my pc. Here's the link:

Found the problem to be my microsoft laser mouse 5000. Installed new intellipoint drivers from microsoft for win 7 64 bit. Screesaver works fine now. Hope this will help anyone :D
