Skype / MSN ...get off my task bar!
Hi,
I have just changed my previous Vista based laptop for a new one with Win 7 Ultimate. On my previous machine both MSN (Windows Live Messenger) and Skype's icons were tidily hidden in the system tray and only appeared on the taskbar once I wanted them to.
In Windows 7 they both appear on the task bar taking up valuable real estate. I can't get rid of either of them unless I close the programs and that's not an option. Skype does have its icon in the hidden system tray also but MSN doesn't even appear there. Having searched all available options I am unable to find a way to get them off the task bar and into the systray only.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
