    Windows 7 is kinda boring...

... Because everything just works for me with no hassle, and I tried looking around for customization apps, "fix" programs, enhancing programs and all such types of things and I barely found anything I need. '

Not on softpedia.com, not on majorgeeks, not on download.com... It's like, after a few basic apps are installed, there's nothing I need, and little tweaking to do!

HELP, I'm getting bored coz it's just too good and nothing to do, LOL

Its early days yet, there will be more "interesting" programs . Theres already an addon for winamp that makes use of the taskbar's aero.

I understand that (to swarfega), but hey don't get me wrong. I'm very pleased with it and all...

This thread/topic was sort of ironic (with a hint of truth to it as well). All in all I'm def happy with 7.

I'm kinda in the same boat, W7 just works for me except the freaking login/locked screen fonts they differ in size. I'm trying to solve this issue now.

Other than that, i've done what i'm interested in doing with W7 (dual boot with xp, ghost both OSs to USB HDD sucessfully using Ghost 2003, and Win7 build-in tool and setup most of my Xp Work apps to run in W7). Btw, today at work i tried to install a nework printer on W7 but i wasn't able to select the driver from the list of available manufacture (not compatible or something). I end up grabing the driver from my Xp partition and installed it manually lol.

I'm not keen on the virtual pc/VMware thingie as i have VM Infrastructure Client installed (as part of work). I can build any VMs in these to any OS (when connected to work VPN).

What else is there to do?

Thanks for the tips about the tutorials/customization forums and topics, LOL I didn't think it was as extensive as it actually was.

Already found a couple of interesting tips there, so now I'm def checking that out!

Hm I already filled out the stuff I remember/care about... To me the rest is just details and I don't even remember them LOL... (would need something like sisoft sandra or something to find all details)

I'm using a selfbuilt "Frankenstein" computer LOL and not everything is top-notch. F.ex. my keyboard is a dirty, ugly, old non-wireless DELL OEM keyboard, haha.

But the internal hardware is pretty acceptable tho, only thing is I bought 2 8800GTs to use SLI and then discovered that my mobo don't support it, it's in reality geared for ATI/CrossFire X cards. Also tbh the mobo isn't really super-top-notch-top-of-the-line but it does support DDR3 so I think it's OK for my requirements...

To finish off, thefabe, your specs seems pretty insane, beats me as everything looks top notch or expensive. Thanks for the welcome btw
