Just wondering

I just got windows 7 ultimate for my computer and on the bottom when i go on the internet, it doesnt show little pictures with the sites. It just shows the sites which is wierd cause on my other computer with windows 7, it shows little pictures with like link and stuff to them where i click the picture and it will take me to the website. How do i change my settings so it can show the pictures and stuff. Thanks

If I update my firmwares for like: chipset, touchpad driver, Intel turbo boost, etc. when I restore to a previously made image (like a 3 months ago Image) will the firmwares be reverted back to the old state too?
