Welcome to Seven Forums donny9182. Try this:

Thumbnail Cache - Clear and Reset

Also, make sure that Always show icons, never thumbnails isn't checked in view settings for folders

Open Windows Explorer (any folder)> Organize> Folder and search options> View tab> make sure Always show icons, never thumbnails isn't checked, if it is, uncheck it

If no help, have a look at the suggested fix on this link:

Also, since you specifically mentioned Video Thumbnails, you may also want to install updated codecs, the best of which would be the Shark007 Windows 7 Codec Pack.

No thumbnail images, please help 2!

First of all, Thank-You for the suggestions you good people gave me. I checked my folder options, set as "Always icons, never thumbnails" isn't checked, tried the thumbnails in the diskcleanup, tried Shark 007 codec for windows 7 to no avail. The only thing I never tried was the link that I got got on a reply, and it seems like alot of work just to to get my thumbnail images to show on my video files. If anyone has any other easier suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

    Hello Donny,

You might also check with the other options in the tutorial below to make sure that you have thumbnail previews enabled.

Thumbnail Previews - Enable or Disable

    Hope this helps,
