    Windows 7 & Windows 98/2000/NT

Hi, are there any privileges of Windows 98/2000/NT that there is no in Windows 7? I mean, do we need to install Windows 98/2000/NT while we have Windows 7?

No not necessary to have the older versionsl
If you have xp or Vista you can buy a cheaper upgrade DVD, when you want to install
If you do not have them you must buy the full Retail, but that is all that is required.
    Seven is a complete package.

I mean, are there any special functions in older versions of Windows which are not in Windows 7?

Every version is a little bit different, but usually the newer versions are improvements over the last.
Most people, like me, have only one operating system. There are some that dual boot (two OS and even fewer that triple boot 3 OS)
Its an opinion call, but one is all you need. Stay with 7 and enjoy

Just wait a while, many will come to say, Im wrong and dual boot is better.

The only real benefit, as far as I know, is that if you have some really old programs that you love, you may need Windows 98 etc.
