Since I'm already in the process of having a problem dealt with in the forum, it might be time to introduce myself.

The first computer I used was a DEC-10 in 1974. The first computer I owned was an Osborne-1 (64K memory and two 183K 5.25" drives and a 300 baud modem). From 1980-1990, I was a CP/M based person.

The last computer I purchased was a 386 SX-16 in 1990. Everything since then has been home made. (Still wish I had my old 486 DX-100 to play games on).

I also have on floppy or CD all the operating systems Microsoft made from the first public offering of DOS until Windows 7 (not including the server based OSs).

I primarily use my computer for research, study and music recording.

This forum has been far more informative and reliable than Microsoft itself.

Hello all,

Just thought I'd say G'day from Australia. Am new to this forum (at least
I don't think I've signed up here before!) and would like to thank anyone
in advance for any help I may receive here.

PS: There will be a question posted by me shortly in Media Center if
anyone has the time . Hope it's not laughable and in the wrong section!!

Cheers

Ty A Guy

Hope I'm allowed to ask you or someone else a quick question here.
Started a new thread in Media Center section as I said I would. I did
this a while ago now- any reason why that wouldn't show up when the New Posts
button is clicked? It's just that I notice posts from eg: 9 minutes ago but can't
see mine up there.

Anyway- patience is a virtue!

G'day AriKona and AllOnTheBus.

And your doesn't show up in New Posts is because the New Posts filter only shows unread posts. Therefore other users should be able to see it, but you unfortunately won't.
