Anyway, I've been using Windows 7 for a while, and as it's gaining more adoption thorughout our company and clients I find myself with more and more questions, but hopefully I'll be able to assist with as many as I fire off! Glad to be here!

Hello, everyone.

As my handle may suggest, last weekend I went through the process of upgrading my former XP 64-bit box to Win 7 Pro 64-bit.

Which way to the forum handling ways and means of subverting Win 7 defaults?

Starting with getting back to an Administrator account with any real power to do anything?

Hello infuriated, welcome to Seven Forums; this is Windows 7 it is not XPired, you can do anything you need in the default admin account, UAC is not asking if you know what you are doing, it's asking if you know what the PC is doing, leave it at default and it will do what it was designed to do.

Welcome to the Seven Forums, Jason and Infuriated.

@Ted: Short and accurate, still one of the best posts I've seen lately. Have to spread the rep around before I can rep you again, so here's a public thank you instead.
