You didn't say if you had one, but if you do, remove your webcam by physically disconnecting it from the system. Use your computer for a day or two and see if it stops bsoding.

You get a blue screen in windows 7 means your RAM is not enough. Put 1 GB more to solve this problem. Or go back to windows XP until you get this 1 GB RAM. DON'T CONTINUE WORKING WITH THIS PROBLEM.

Caution:

If you continue working even after getting blue screen your RAM will eventually worn out and gets damaged fully. Act fast!!!

I am sorry mate but I have a bit of a hard time believing that because of BSODs your RAM is going to wear out fast.

I am also entirely not sure if it is his lack of ram that is causing a problem. That is why he has a swap file on his hard drive remember? Also a lot of people on the web if you do a little search have 1 gb machines aka nettops and they seem to be running just fine.

I am not entirely sure what his problem is. It could be the drivers or lack thereof for his hardware which I am sorry to say mate I have never even heard of some of them like the Mercury motherboard as an example.

I would agree with the suggestion to try and procure some more ram if possible and see if that alleviates the problem but I somehow doubt it. I think it is potentially driver related.

The blue screen of death is used for the error screen displayed by some OS, most notably windows, after encountering a critical system error which can cause the system to shut down to prevent damage.
I fear this damage is to the RAM dude... I have installed windows 7 in mercury motherboard of same series and got blue screen. But after removing 7 and installing XP no problem except less performance of RAM.
For your driver doubt, I had seen problem with audio in PI945GZD. But windows 7 automatically will find the suitable driver online with a click...

Every time BSOD appears it is to prevent more damage to a hardware. And that hardware is RAM. I insist it is running beyond its specification limit.

Only if he's running his RAM at increased voltages to overclock. The bluescreen could be to prevent filesystem corruption - the hardware itself isn't damaged, just the data. Code running in and of itself cannot physically damage RAM, only bad BIOS settings to overclock, which could also damage the CPU. Hitting it with a hammer also can damage it .
