    Can't download files

I can't download files from any browser. It says the download is complete but I can't open it or it doesn't show up in my computer. Even if I just save a picture since saving a picture is considered downloading a file. I can't even say "Allow" when Internet Explorer wants to install Adobe Flash Player. The only thing I can do is run torrents through BitComet to download.

When click a link in your browser to download a file, are you asked whether you want to "Open", "Run" or "Save" the file? If you select "Save", you should be presented with a "Save As" dialog asking where you want to save the file to.

Some browser can be configured to always save file into a default location. You'll have to check your browsers options for this.

Yes it does ask me. When I search for the file, it shows up but then it says that the shortcut is missing. Then it disappears.

Attach a screenshot of the "Save As" dialog that you get when you save a download, so we can see where you are trying to save to.

And when you search for a download, where does Search say the file is located?
