I totally agree.

Oh my! I think i got it. In this case, what´s happened to some folders like Local configurations, where a body could access the IE folders like cookies, temporary files, recently opened docs and so on. I mean, where are the stuff of those folders stored in?

Which is exactly why Takeown should not be passed out like a candy cure all.

If someone would have asked first,, which folders,,, we could ahve saved them some problems.

100% agree with you Tepid.

The times I've seen people wrongly advised to take ownership of their C: folder, Windows folder etc..

Total calamity remains only a few key strokes away!
