It would help tremendously if you would give us the file extensions of the
files on the dvd.
You can print a directory of your dvd by going to the start/run/cmd
line and then
typing
dir d:\*.* >dvdfiles.txt (assuming that D: is your dvd drive, change if it isn't)
this will create a file in your default directory called dvdfiles.txt
You can then use windows explorer to navigate to your directory and
double click the .txt file. It will come up in notepad and you then can
copy and paste them into a message letting us know what files and extensions
are on the disk.
As long as it is not a real long listing, if so then just copy some pertinant
parts to a message here.

tahir, have you tried Sledges tip yet?
In my research this is coming out to be the winning suggestion, if that doesn't work extracting the files with Isobuster is the next option.

If all else fails can you get the DVD back to the DVD writer that it was burned on, to see if it can read it?
