    if you backed up your stuff, and you know how to reinstall vista if something goes wrong, it can't hurt to try.

    Well I backed up my stuff in recovery, but I don't know if I did it all the way because it ran out of space.

    mount the .ISO and it'll work (both upgrade and full installation)

    to be honest, the windows 7 installation is user friendly...the only bit where you can possbily mess up is adding the key? even then you can skip the process and add it later..try on VMWare if you want to test it before you try anything.

    So what should I do? Mount it or buy a DvD? which is easier and faster?

    whatever suits you if your willing to spend a disc on it then go ahead, either way they both work :)
