    Another admin user question

Ok im having major issues here and Ive read everything but nothing seems to answer my specific issue.

Im using Win 7 Pro and im a user on a local work network. I have admin privileges on my network security policy.

Im trying to adjust the URC controls and Win is telling me I have to log in as administrator to reduce the security level. In addition, many common tasks I try to do are prompting me to run as admin and I have to then go and type my user id and pw.

Ive enabled the Build in Administrator and tried to adjust the setting via that method but am still receiving the promps for my local policy.

Ive adjusted the settings in the Users folder and given myself almost every privilege but again, I still cannot adjust the URC and am still being prompted to "Run as Admin" for many tasks which is becoming very annoying.

    How to I fix this.

    Thanks.

Are you on a domain ?? If so, you're probably running up against domain policies. You have to talk to your domain admin about that.

It has nothing to do with my domain policies, its strictly my local policy. On my domain Im an admin.
