Are builds beyond 7100 free to the public??

    Hi All,

I'm running 7 build 7100 as found on the public (read: free) MS download site. Lovin' it of course! But i know there are much newer (better?) builds out there, yet 7100 is still on the MS site. How can i get the current build as a free public test, or is that even possible?

    Thanks!

It's only free if you pirate it

build 7100 is pretty solid though. I'm still running it on my laptop.

Only 7100 RC was released to the public for testing , the rest are internal builds for Microsoft and have been "leaked" onto the Internet and then downloaded mostly via bit torrent ( rapidshare links are fairly common as well ). What build was you interested in , i may be able to point you in the right direction

EVERY "beta" build is "free" to for public to test it according to EULA, however sharing it might be a problem legal wise, im sure noone will stalk you because of using it tho.

    +1 SoLoR,

I was going to say the same about each and every beta. What's not legal though is the removal of watermarks or cracking beta's to out-last their designated time frame.
