Get Explorer details view to show kb mb gb as appropriate?

Just wondering if anyone has discovered a registry hack to get Windows Explorer to show file size in details view as KB, MB, GB as appropriate? FreeCommander has had this option for years.

Are you meaning that you want to customize the columns being displayed? If so then please right-click on "column heading bar" and tick on the Size Check Box. Or is it something else that you are looking for?

I think he means the 'Size' column in Details view in a folder - it's always showing in KB.

Right. Most file managers you can set it to show KB, MB, or GB automatically. Thought by now there may be a registry hack. There's so much secret stuff in the Registry one never knows. :)

I can hover the mouse to show like 8.2 GB on the video file. But I want to be able to make the size column smaller. It's too wide if it's going to show file size as 8,200,200 KB.
