Shortcut Properties dialogue box - delete options?

This is not specific to Windows 7, but I have Googled this for some while without finding an answer.. maybe someone here will know.

When I open up a Properties box by right-clicking on a file shortcut (.lnk) and enter a first letter in the 'start in' box, dozens of file locations are suggested: how do I clean these out, as 99% of them are not relevant any longer?

    Thanks,

    Martin

    Hello Martin,

This will reset it back to default, and hopefully remove all those old entries.

Unchecking the Address bar box below in Internet Options -> Settings, click OK, go back, click on Delete AutoComplete history button, click on OK, go back, check the Address bar box and click on OK.

    Hope this helps,
