    Windows Explorer Preview Issue

Hi all, I'm having this issue as seen in the attachment. For some reason, I Windows Explorer just won't show the preview for the first video file. Upon opening the folder, it attempts to show the preview (as noted by the green progress bar through the folder name) but it seems to just hang. Almost all of my video files are fine, it just seems to be finicky with a select few. Does anyone know a simple way I can fix this? Thanks.

I'm not sure I understand your response.. If you look at the attachment I uploaded, all video files have a preview except one. That's what I'm trying to fix.

It has nothing to do with the preview pane. There is something different about that one file. You'll have to find out the difference to fix the problem.

How is it a mixture of content, and why would that matter? All the files are .mkv files. Even if they were .mp3, mp4, .jpg, .mov, .avi and others, the preview icons should be there.

No idea what the diff could be and no idea how to fix it. It's a rather annoying prob.. Any time I open the folder, Windows Explorer instantly tries to generate a preview but never does. While the folder is open, I can hardly do anything with the file except play it because it's still being used by Windows Explorer.

Temp solution for now is to view the files in list format to stop Windows Explorer from trying to generate a preview. Would be great if someone discovers a fix for this though.
