    7127 is only better because it works good with PunkBuster. If you don't play those games that requires PB, you can go with 7229 or 7231. The only difference between 71** and 72** are probably minor bug fixes which won't be very obvious.

    I'm not going to upgrade to those because if I do, I won't be able to play Call of Duty anymore

    Best for me is RC, tested 7201 and 7229, all them x64 and will wait with 7100 till RTM. People saying that maybe we will have it for june 19! Hoping that.

    i wish i could help, but i have been using 7057, and having several bug issues, can anyone tell me what the major difference from 7057 to 7100 or 7201, and if it is worth a clean install or if i should just wait till the rtm comes out

    I'd do a clean install to get all of your setup files in check.

    When you download your browser, save the setup.exe, same with flash player, adobe reader, office, anything that you download. I have a separate partition for all of that stuff now. I get a clean install with everything running in 35 minutes. It makes life easy.

    @zigzag3143: Really, 5 days?

    I just want to let everyone know that I did a full wipe (Used wipedrive and cleaned by disk then installed windows) of my system and installed 7201. I can honestly say in the 12 hours I've had it running, 7077 was noticeably faster. 7201 is slow on loading times I find. I should have gone with 7127, but if the RTM will be released in 5 days there's no point right? What are your thoughts, downgrade to 7127?

    Last I heard rtm was supposed to be "leaked" June 19. If thats true I would wait the 5 days but you never know what wzor, or others are going to do.

    My preference order. Note I do not play games, but use media center, business apps, and networking a lot.

    Best to worst

    7229>7127>7201>7100>>7137.

    Have only a couple of problems left with 7229 (also existed with previous builds) and may be related to my Nvidia drivers.

    I run 2 almost identical machines. I prefer the x64 builds with 4GB ram and the x86 builds with 2GB. IMO there is a noticable benefit from running x86 on 2G and x64 on 4G.

    Patiently waiting for RTM.

    It still seems like rtm will be thurs, or friday. Given that 7229,7260 already leaked rtm cant be far behind. Keznews is a good site to read about what is going on in the computer world.

    Hope this helpes. If you need any more info feel free to PM me.
