Download Folder

It seems I have lost my download folder. When I download I had two options to save to Desktop or download folder.
The download folder option is missing how do I get it back Thanks

Did you look in the Recycle Bin.
If you deleted the shortcut by mistake, look there and try to restore it.

Hello Shoe,

If you navigate to C:\Users\(user-name) and open the folder, does it still have your Downloads folder in it?

If not, then you can try OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to restore it.

If your Downloads folder is in your C:\Users\(user-name) folder, then it's already in the default location.

I get an error "file does not have a program associated with it" when I click the Downloads folder. Also properties for the folder do not have anything in the Target field. Can you tell me how to fix this? Thank you.

Default Font Folder - Where can I download it?
Hi, so, I'm having a bit of an issue here. I kind of installed 4,803 fonts that I really didn't need, and I'd like to just get the default fonts back. Does anyone know where I can download the Windows 7 default font folder? :huh:

When I download a file (say, a PDF) the default container is user/downloads. Often (typically) I don't want to retain this file after I have read it, but there is no option to delete it from the Download folder. Instead, I have to chase the file to its its installed locaiton and delete it...
