Hello Zapppa, and welcome to Seven Forums.
Yes, but you will need to close the window after the change to that folder for it to be remembered for the next time you open that specifc folder window from the specific path location. Windows 7, like Vista, will only remember the folder view settings for a windows for when it was last closed. Hope this helps, Shawn |

What are the full file paths for these folder locations? I'll see if I can replicate what you are seeing.

That's what I was starting to think what was hapenning. In a Library, it combines all of the folders that are included in it as one folder. Any change to one will change all the other folders in that library. This is normal. :)

Just pick a view for your library and stick with it. If it is pictures, use thumbnails, if not, then don't , etc... it is not meant for you to have different views in different parts of the same library.

I will include a photo. How may I get rid of this error? I think it's a Win. 7 issue. |

If I change the view of one folder, the view of all folders changes?!? For example, if I change the view of one folder to "large icons" or to "list" or whatever, then ALL of the folders will have that view. But I want specific folders to have specific view types. How can I accomplish this? |
