Using the win 7 speech recognition

    Greetings

Does anybody know where i can find the speech recognition configuration folder so that i can make a copy of it and in case i need to restore it on a later time?

I´m trying to help a co-worker who has some special needs and i thought that could be a good idea if he used his pc partially through voice.

By the way, very happy xmas for everybody!

Appears to be something at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Speech\Files, and also under C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Speech.

    Merry Christmas to you.

Ok! I found it. Thanks for the help. Just one more question. Would be possible to create new voice command to be added to the existing default ones?

I don't know if it can be done directly. But you can control the keyboard (Control Panel/Speech Recognition/Command commands), and if you have a programmable keyboard, or better, if you use a program like HotKeyz, you can assign macros to key combinations which can then be controlled by voice.

Thanks again. I´ll see what i can find. I need it to recognize other programs commands, i mean, autocad for example. The job of our co-worker is to create digital elevation models for engineering and would be useful if he could operate by voice, at least, part of these programs.
