    Folder name is not the real one ... Very Strange !!!


    Hi,

    I moved the Users folders from C: to D: one by one using the location tab from the folder properties ...

    When I finished surprisingly I found that the "Users" folder name became "Desktop" with its icon ... Although in reality it is not !!!! it still has the name Users but shows Desktop ... When I click the path it shows that ...








    I manged to change the icon from the properties but not the name ....

    I'm still trying to solve the problem ... but this realy very interesting ... Any ideas ??!!

    Use System Restore to go back to before the change happened.

Strange new folder

I went into my C:\Windows folder to check something & I realized I have this new folder named SoftwareDistribution that was created on 6/1/12. This is a refurbished hard drive & was clean before I 1st installed 7 on it, which was 6/2/12. So how can I have a folder w/a creation date of 6/1/12? ...
Is there any way to change the shortcuts on the right side of the start menu (Documents, Pictures, Music) to use the real folders instead of the libraries?
