Windows 8.1 Pro RTM x64

Hi anandjgd and welcome to Windows 7 Forums

Answering your questions in order:
  1. This is down to the keyboard layout that is installed. To change it, see Keyboard Layout - Change
  2. This is possibly a driver issue, Check Lenovo - Laptops, Notebooks, Netbooks, Desktops, Computers, & Accessories (you will need to navigate yourself, as you didn't supply a model number) to see if they offer a solution.
  3. The built-in generic driver should be able to recognise your DVD drive. When you power up, is it being detected in the BIOS?
