    Shut down problem!


    Been havin a problem with my machine the last while.

    Now and again when i go to shut down it wont shut down fully. it gos as far as the login/outscreen and hangs up. wont shut down unless i force it.

    sometimes its a blank colour and others it just stays on the logon screen. the times that it did go to a blank colour it has been kinda colours that are in the logon screen if ya know what i mean. sometimes green others kinda a dirty white!

    Any ideas whats causing this and how i might sort it out?

    With a clean boot you should be able to diagnose and solve the problem

    right ill give that a go!

    it happins fairly random tho so might be hard to single it out!

    Some process is closing slowly and delaying shut down. We have to find out which one.

Intermittent Shut Down Problem

Currently got a clean install of Windows 7, sometimes I shut down in like 5 seconds, other times it logs off, then shutting down screen just stays on, any ideas?
