(And before you criticise - I ran Vista x64 exclusively until Win7 got stable. But I'm the first to admit that I had to buy better hardware to make it workable!)
That's a winner for OEMs and other hardware distributors. Everyone seesm to want to run Home Premium and higher.

True, Windows 8 might not be called this. But OOOHHHH to get hold of a copy would be great LOL
Doubt there is enough online infrastructure to really do anything with Midori.

Windows 8 work is definitely going on, I assure you. But it is so early to even mess with. I need a rest from builds anyway, except final rtm of Windows 7. LOL

Haha, only bug me when we have a version of W8 (just using Windows 8 as a referal because it is easy to say in conversation), that is visually different from Windows Vista/7.

That was my main wish for 7 was to be very prettyful.

    Windows 8........Midori.........

May I add a little confusion to the confusion that already exists here? Windows 8 (obviously a windows program) is currently being developed to succeed Windows 7 at some future time. Midori is a "non-Windows" OS currently being developed. Whether Midori is being developed to replace the current stream of Windows OSs or to supplement, or "run alongside" of them is not clear at this point. At any rate, it is rumored (but not yet confirmed publicly by anyone at Microsoft qualified to confirm or disprove) that Midori will be designed specifically for efficient "cloud computing". But at any rate, Windows 8 development and Midori development are two TOTALLY separate projects at Microsoft and are not connected other than that they are both Microsoft projects. "Don't carry on no jive about Windows 8/Midori being the same project. There ain't no such thing!!!!"

That's my guess, and I'm stickin' to it.
