I used to have a couple of programs that started when I booted.

The thing is one of them needs the UAC confirmation, so sticking them in the startup folder doesnt work. How do I set the shortcut so that it never comes up with the yellow screen?

    Hello Peter,

You could create a elevated program shortcut, then use this below with step 15 to run the program elevated at Startup without a UAC prompt for administrator accounts only.

Task - Create to Run a Program at Startup and Log On

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
