Some Programs won't go to Start Menu's Recent Programs List...

No matter how many times I launch Skype or iTunes, they just won't get added to the Start Menu's Recent Programs list. Any ideas why?

In case you don't know, here is how to do what Brink said:

    1. Right click on the start menu.
    2. Click Properties.
    3. Uncheck the two options under Privacy.
    4. Click Apply.
    5. Check the two options.
    6. Click Apply again.

Back again with the same problem, but this time the above method isn't fixing it. Are there any other ways to resolve this?

you want those programs to be on start menu programs list for sure yes?
then you can pin them to start menu.

But then they'll never get moved off the list to make way for more frequently used programs. I like the way the list works for that reason. I may end up having to pin programs, but I'd rather not.

Add shortcuts to all programs also - not the folders, just exe files or the ones you want -, and click all programs after clicking start.

All Programs is where the shortcuts are, and I've clicked the programs many times.
