Is build 7232 better than 7100?

could you pls share your hardware configurations to me?

I did not check the drivers from "marvell yukon" assuming that they may not be yet compatible with win 7.
I will download the drivers &see if that solves the problem, its quite irritating bug & hangs the comp for 2-3 mins.

Subjectively I would say so. I've not done any benchmarks but I'm now on my fifth build after 7100.
I noticed quite a difference between 7100 and 7127 (as I've said elsewhere).
It immediately seemed snappier and quicker to load apps etc.
The builds since then have been much harder to distinguish from each other but they are all good although some people had problems with 7137.
Most recently I have done upgade installs from 7201 to 7229 and now 7232.
7229 seemed completely stable and so does 7232 but I've only had it for a couple of days yet.
I am happy with 7232 but I suppose the sensible advice would be to go for 7229 as that was a proper .iso release whereas 7232 is a vhd file that has been customised by our respected friend SoLoR.
On the other hand I'm pretty happy with 7232 and it seems fast and stable and has a good "feel" to it.
In a "blind" test I imagine I'd have difficulty telling the difference between any of the post 7200 builds.
They are all good.

Hi, i use RC build 7100....can i upgrade to 7232 instead of a clean install thereby having all my apps intact?

You can.....as long as you are using 7100 x64.
I would still back up any data you cannot afford to lose and uninstall any Anti virus before running the upgrade.
All my installs since 7100 have been upgrades and so far I have not had any problems....

Yes. A lot of people say that a clean install is best but I have done upgrades from 7201 to 7229 and now to 7232.
They have all gone fine apart from my mouse driver.
I have a Roccat Kone mouse and I really like it but I don't think MS have heard of this firm yet.
Consequently each time I've had to plug in my old MS mouse and use it to reinstall the Kone driver.
Apart from that everything, all my apps, wallpaper etc have remained the same.
That's probably the reason it's hard for me to tell the difference between the recent builds.
An upgrade install takes longer than a clean install, about 70 minutes in my case, but it's easy.
Just put in the cd iso you have burnt and install from autoplay. There will be a few shutdowns but just leave it to do its thing and there you are.
