Dreading 7000 expiration, scared of 7100.

So I have 7000 (beta) running on my Lenovo T60P and it's PERFECT. I have 7100 (rc) running on my desktop and it has issues...

I am so dreading the upcoming expiration of 7000 (beta). I wish I could give MSFT $$$ right now as a pre-buy and not lose my flawless 7000 (beta) experience.

7100 is a better experience than 7000 was. Just run the RC1.

I used 7022 for months and was reluctant, but upgraded to 7201. It was okay, but then I got 7229 and it's been the most stable release (to me) so far.

Copyright is correct. Get 7229 and activate using your beta key. You'll be happy until next year.

if you can use post rc builds...
like: 7201(very stable for me, i am currently useing it) or 7229.
and if you install RC1 dont forget to run windows update, it will fix some compatibility problems of the RC1.

7000 was way too buggy. Get RC.

JayNYC, I have 7232 x64 running on my Lenovo X61t tablet and it's AWESOME, far better than it was with 7000. Everything works great - screen rotations, tablet buttons, even the Ritepen recognition software which I prefer over the native.

Definitely check 7229 or 7232 out.

I would agree, there should be no problems with RC if you had none with beta.
Do a clean install, but before wiping out beta, run the transfer wizard and save to file on a drive other than where your going to install RC. If you don't have a seperate drive/partition, pretty sure you can save to dvd. Then after the new install run transfer wizard and upload your saved profile.

    Go For It!
