Taskbar issue....

    I usualy find when the taskbar does not hide is because something in the system tray is wanting attention.

    Maybe I'm on to something here. When I closed the "Steam" icon, (a holding place for games), the bar closed. I guess the weight of the icon was too much for the bar to lift. The only issue now, is keeping that icon fron re-appearing in the systray.

    Easy enough. Right click on the icon when it is in the system tray > settings > interface > uncheck run steam when computer starts. That should do it

    Dunno, haven't used it yet. It would seem that the "Steam" icon was causing the issue. I'll give it another couple of days to see. That program would be my last resort after I exhaust my other options.

    So far, as of today, the task bar is still hidden. Possibly, SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker had something to do with it. I have no idea, but, it's as good a reason as any. Thanks for your help.
