aero isnt working

    Don't agree. I've been using Nvidia beta drivers for years and with various beta and final OS's and they were always far better and more efficient then the stable branch...

    not to mention that in that GF4200 case I got it working under W7 using beta drivers a year older then the last stable ver. that supported it....

    So you found the trick to "Force" Aero?

    I tried on my laptop (855 intel GMA) and I wasn't able.

    Also, I get a BSOD when trying to watch a DVD movie with protection.

    won't be able to help you m8, don't know nothing about Intel cards, i've managed to trick W7 with a bit of work to accept a certain 'incompatible' driver and then it was easy to take it from there.

    anyway from my experience it's not worth the tassel as it slows the whole OS baaadly. you're better off leaving it the way it is...

    the Nvidia drivers are install already (there is control panel) but when i go into them.. they always crash i have tried changing hcompatibility to xp and vista but still crash


    Went mucking around with it dunno what i done but after restarting my laptop it was fixed
