Ok Lynyrd Lets try something. Im going to walk you through some steps for something you can try, I do believe to fix this issue will require you to update your keyboard. But i believe the steps below will help you atleast get rid of the beep.
Go to Start type in Sound and Press Enter.
Then click "sound" thats found under control panel
Click the Sounds tab & Scroll down to Default Beep.
Change Default Beep to NONE.
Then Save as Custom.
NOTE: If that does not stop the beeping i would highly recommend replacing your keyboard, or getting a friends to test out.
Ugh, I'm pretty sure I've put that in a .rar file before uploading, I wonder what happened. >_<
By the way, I just bought a new USB keyboard and it seems that solves the beeping problems. Although I'm still a little bit concerned as to why the PS/2 keyboard was malfunctioning and the speaker(which is also connected to the motherboard) seems to be affected everytime it happens. I hope it's not a problem with my motherboard.
Anyway, thanks a lot for the help! I'll just post again if anything happens again. And sorry for the very late reply, I had to go to bed then, it was way past bedtime here in our country.
Nope, If it was your motherboard it would beep on post and continuously without keys being pressed, its something to do with older keyboards. Glad its been taken care of i dont suspect you will be having anymore beeping :)
Glad we could help, if there is any other issues you seem to have give us a shout!

There certainly is still potential that it is the motherboard. Nothing requires the system to beep on post if it has a motherboard problem. The speaker rumbling and PS/2 port having an issue at the same time would definitely make me think there is a hardware issue.
Its a common issue with an older keyboard, i would say he is safe. But sure nothing states that his motherboard must beep on post for an issue. But Typically if its the motherboard he would be having other troubles and it should be doing something on post.
Well in case the motherboard is really defective, good thing I still have a one year warranty. But the noise in the speaker hasn't showed up so far after replacing the keyboard, so maybe it's already good. :)
