No problem, just <Right-Click> on your desktop choose "personalise", and then click on "Windows Classic"

This will set your whole system up automatically in the "Classic" windows style.

You can still use a picture as a background on your desktop if you want. That doesn't affect anything else.

"Houston, we have a problem."

well Mike, I still have that ghost image problem. I switched the theme to Windows Classic, no go. I even re-booted the computer so it would come up fresh in that Windows Classic mode and ran the script again. No change (image attached).

p.s. I hate the classic theme, has me feeling like I've gone back in time, like the stone age. yuk!

oh well, ... thnx anyways for all the help, you've been super.

cheers, -Marcos

That's a bit odd. No idea why it should "ghost" like that.

You can choose any theme you like! :) I just thought the classic theme would be less likely to cause problems.

My pleasure.

"Houston, problem resolved!"

Being that one of my mantras is "never say die", I have discovered the cause of my ghost imaging. Your initial instructions require a slight modification. The solution, for me at least, is the step when pressing shift/print-screen, DO NOT release. These keys must remain depressed as the mouse is used to mark the area of capture.

p.s. Mike, looking forward to that additional code - thnx again.

Happy New Year All!
