Yes. RTM will release within the year and your RC build will run out in March 2010.

im sure you can upgrade from RC to the Full Version by editing that same file, but again it isn't recommended. you would have to purchase a key but yes, it should work. Windows 7 is due out October 22nd, 2009 I think.

You will get a new RC key if you download from MS.
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win.../download.aspx
This will expire June 1, 2010 by which time you will have to do a full install of RTM or another OS.

i installed windows 7 on may 12th 2009 and included a microsoft key which said that it will valid till 1 year...,but today morning i saw the message that it will be expired in 14 days...Here check images

when i change the product key with new one also..no use...it still saying that key will expire in 14 days when i go to Start-->winver

    help me pls.
Win 7 build 7000 is beta and will start shuting down every two hours or so. The way to stop that is to upgrade from 7000 to either 7201 or 7260 (if your 32 bit). Its the build not the key that is expiring.

Let me know if you need help

7000 was the beta, 7100 is the release candidate, and 7xxx will be the rtm (release to manufacturing)
