    i cant open my hard disk..

    Hmm, that is strange. Can you open C. I assume you just double clicked on it.

    So you cannot open any disk - right. I would run a sfc /sannow in elevated command prompt.

    what happens when you type D: then enter in the

    START Search programs and files

    i can open the D, but when i navigate through "My Computer" it says..

    This file does not have a program associated with it performing this action . Please install a program or, if one installed, create an association in the default programs control panel.

    try to restore the .exe association from here: Default File Type Associations - Restore
