My date (under time) is now showing European?

Anyone else in the US showing the month/day/year on their date?
I just noticed this... it may be what everyone else is seeing, but I just noticed it I prefer day/month/year. How do I set it for that?

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. Do you want to show the date on the notification area as in Europe, 15/01/2011 instead of 1/15/2011:

(My Taskbar is vertically on the left so it might look funny to those used to normal Taskbar, but you get the idea.)

I think your best shot in that case would be to change the format to English (United Kingdom) instead of English (United States) as I have done, then manually change the other formats like currency symbol, digit grouping etc. as I have done to get German formats.

    Odd....just suddenly changed?

You shouldn't have to change regions I would think....I think its just a case of choosing format (see below)

The English (United States) format does not include short date as used in Europe. That's why I suggested using English (United Kingdom), and then manually changing the rest to US format from Additional Settings.

Golden, it is odd because I just noticed the change (today) after doing the 1/11 Windows updates yesterday. I wonder what happened there?
