    Screensaver


    Hi, I have a netbook with windows 7 starter edition, I have applied a screensaver with the tick for resume on login not ticked but it keeps putting the tick back in the box? how can I stop it?,I want the screensaver to run, thank you.

    Hello Riptorn,

    If you mean the On resume, display logon screen box, then you might see if using one or more of the options in the tutorial below may be able to disable it so it will no longer be checked anymore.

    Screen Saver Password Protection -Enable or Disable

    This is not working for windows 7 starter edition?, I have no gpedit.msc?
    how can I disable the logon?

    You could use the REG download in step three in OPTION TWO at the link above to also do this. :)

    Sorry to hear that.

    As a test, create a new administrator account to see if your screen saver settings work properly in it.
