Start and stop

Just found a problem with system, HDD formated, but needing to install new OS, yet when I try to boot it starts, lights, fans, then after about 15 seconds it shuts down, 10 seconds later, it starts again and then stops, and as long as you leave it it starts and stops, ad infinitum.?????????????

I see you've OC'ed your CPU. Try lowering the clocks to reduce heat FerchogtX said.

Removed, clean and re-installed CPU, fresh fan.

Its stayed on and showed the Post screen, but it won't move from it, none of indicaters work, ie Delete, F9, F12

I removed the HDD and formatted it then reconnected it,

Tried an OS disk in optical drive, nothing.

Reset the BIOS settings... open case, remove battery and put the CMOS clear jumper in place for about 10 mins... then move back the jumper to normal setting, set the battery in place again, close and boot, then reconfigure and save CMOS settings... Is not ike the problem I had, but maybe this fixes yours

See ya!!!!
