Are you using IE if so here you go IE makes a clicking noise when changing web pages. How do I get rid of it?
open up your Windows Control Panel, double click the "Sounds and Audio Devices" and then select the "Sounds" tab. Scroll down the "Program Events" box, until you encounter "Start Navigation" - select it. From the "Sounds:" drop down box, scroll all the way up and select "(None)" and you won't hear the click whenever you change web pages

If you click on the "Sounds" link I posted above, it will help show you how to either change or remove the sound for the Start Navigation event if that is what you wanted to do.

If it affects other items that you didn't want it to, then you could always just change the sound for it again back to the default sound to have it back.
