    Anyone know how to...

...make a search box that can be pinned to the Task bar?

Simple: I'd like to pin the search bar to the task bar so I don't have to use the 'start' menu to get there. I use a vertical arrangement, with a widened task bar. I use search now as a matter of habit, there's room for it, and it would be very convenient to have it there.

You would need to edit system resources to do this, the only other way is to use a third party program like "Copernic Desktop Search".

Doesn't a Right Click on a task bar gives you the option for a search bar inside the task bar? I know XP used to do it.
