    A noob question.

    Hey guys:

I am wondering where I go look to see what build Windows 7 is up to. Are some versions more stable than others? I am currently running 7231 and it freezes up quite a bit and I would like to do a fresh install. I have heard that 7232 is stable. Is there a more recent version that just as stable?

    Thanks

That would be great!!! Thanks. Is there an official place to see what they are up to or is the torrent sites the easiest way to find out?

The only official place is the Microsoft website where you wont be kept up to date on the latest builds. The only news there will probably be when the final build is up for technet.
And you have found the easiest way to find out, this site :)
Just keep an eye on the 'News' and 'General Discussion' pages and look for a new build number every once and a while

There is a list of all the builds here.

Good places to keep abreast of current rumors are here (in Russian - the green in the middle of the page is both User ID and PW) and here (Korean in English).

After you do your fresh install. Do you activate the program? It says I have 30 days to activate it. Does it stop working after the 30 days? Do I go to the MS website to get an activation code? Not sure what I need to do? PM me if you like.

    Thanks Weh:

That's what I was hoping for.
