    Really wierd icon problem

I'm having this really wierd icon problem, my shortcuts have the right icon, but then its like windows has placed another icon right ontop of the correct icon. Like for firefox, it has the firefox logo, then smack dab on top of the firefox logo sits a logo that looks like a box with a cd. Ive attached a picture of what im talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd hate to hafta reinstall

Ok, well I ran a system restore, and it fixed it, which is weird cuz I thought I had disabled system restore. Well anyway, idk how to delete a thread, so I guess it stays.

I had the same problem when using Iconpackager and fixed it by using a registry fix that allowed me to use a blank shortcut icon.

Is Iconpackager a part of windowblinds or other skinning programs? cuz I was playing around with a program kind of like windowblinds last night, it was called alienguise, basically skins your windows, although it doesnt work too well with 7.

Yes it's one of the Stardock's applications and yeah basically all those sort of programs are not compatible yet and That's why I use programs like Restorator now to do all my customizations, it's not as easy as using something like Windows Blinds or Iconpacker but at least it only changes what you want to change.

There is a Windows Blinds for Windows 7 that is in BETA stage ATM but only paid members have access to testing but should be good once finished, I have already seen another member that has been using the BETA and the results looked pretty amazing.
