I also have a cooling pad connected to my computer... which obviously drains the battery 2x quicker.

What does it means? sorry to ask about "Uninterrupted Power supply".

Some UPS are quite affordable for 20 minutes of power backup in case...Might try saving a little!

Hand or in another hand the price will be the same as a brand new laptop battery, but the UPS will save in long term your laptop one.

Try using the lappy with "Balanced" Power Plan settings...

PS:
You can use your Cooling Pad not directly plug onto the laptop, but through on a USB 2.0 high speed hub port, wired powered that will bring the power supply to Cool Fan instead of the laptop USB ports.

Laptop batteries
I don't have a laptop but I know a few people who would never buy a desktop. Their reasons are usually that they like to tidy up after using their computer, they don't have space to spare and the portability of a laptop suits them fine. I always remind them to make use of the battery to maximise...

Notebooks and their batteries
I have a 2 year-old laptop and a 6 month-old netbook. I recently read that if my mobile notebooks are always plugged in to a power source,(and mine are 99% of the time) the battery should not be in the equipment. It read they should be removed and stored away. Is this true? If so, my...
