    i can't access to C: or D: - file association error

    i use win7 ultimate 32bit,

    i can't access to C: or D:

    everything else works perfect (like exe files,regedit,run etc)

    i can get inside C: or D: via "right click + open" , but when i double click i get error called;
    "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."

    Tried complete scan with nod32+malwarebytes+spybot , no virus/worm/spy anything..

    Any suggestions?

    Hi xdabestx welcome to the Forum's.

    Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you, I didn't see your post until now.

    this post over on Technet seems to describe your issue precisely, I would suggest giving the 2nd post a good read, as it outline's a detailed guide on how to fix it: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/...3-a4f715a6ca21
