    Is this a screensaver problem?

When I am working on a document in Microsoft Word, the document disappears from my screen and is replaced by my desktop image. It remains like this even if I continue typing, but reverts back to the Word document only if I move the mouse. How can I stop this happening please?
    Thanks,
    kpm.

    Hi,

Try turning off your screensaver to see if that is the issue.

Make sure your mouse pointer is not hovering around the bottom right corner of the screen. See that tab next to the clock and date? That will show the desktop if the mouse pointer goes there.

That's the only thing I can think of right now.

Thank you. I think the mouse pointer hovering near the "show desktop" tab in the bottom right corner might be the problem. It's very annoying; is there any way of getting rid of this tab from the task bar?

Right click the tab. Uncheck "Peek at desktop".

    Hi KPM,

Here you go - Aero Peek - Turn On or Off

Take a read and you should be able to disable that option
